The Opportunity

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role will act as the key customer contact for receivables collections, playing a critical part in maintaining healthy cash flow and strong customer relationships.

• Proactively contact customers to collect outstanding receivables and ensure invoices are paid within agreed terms

• Coordinate the approval and processing of customer credit claims

• Investigate and resolve customer invoice queries and disputes in a timely manner

• Review and release sales orders placed on credit hold

• Support the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as required

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers

What you’ll bring

• Extensive collections experience with a strong understanding of best-practice collection strategies

• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Intermediate Excel skills

• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take a proactive approach
