The Opportunity
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role will act as the key customer contact for receivables collections, playing a critical part in maintaining healthy cash flow and strong customer relationships.
Proactively contact customers to collect outstanding receivables and ensure invoices are paid within agreed terms
Coordinate the approval and processing of customer credit claims
Investigate and resolve customer invoice queries and disputes in a timely manner
Review and release sales orders placed on credit hold
Support the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as required
Build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers
What you’ll bring
Extensive collections experience with a strong understanding of best-practice collection strategies
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate Excel skills
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take a proactive approach
