The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to support the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing site. In this role, you will deliver corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance, ensuring plant equipment operates reliably while minimising downtime and breakdowns.

• Perform electrical maintenance and fault finding across plant equipment.

• Respond to breakdowns, stoppages and performance issues in a safe and timely manner.

• Conduct preventative inspections and predictive maintenance activities.

• Perform root cause analysis to identify and eliminate recurring issues.

• Ensure all electrical work complies with AS/NZS standards and electrical codes of practice.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders in the CMMS system (MEX).

• Work with external service providers to support equipment reliability.

• Follow LOTO procedures, risk assessments and hazard identification processes.

• Support and mentor an Electrical Apprentice where required.

What you’ll bring

• Experience working in FMCG or food manufacturing environments.

• Experience with PLC systems, instrumentation, SCADA or industrial automation.

• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and OEM manuals.

• Experience using a CMMS system (preferably MEX).

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology

• Current NSW A-Class Electrical Licence

• Experience with Tetra Pak UHT filling and packing systems (desirable)

• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.

• High attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to provide on-call support when required.
