The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to lead the planning and coordination of maintenance activities across our manufacturing site. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring maintenance work is effectively planned, prioritised and executed to support plant reliability, safety and operational efficiency.
Working closely with Engineering, Trades and Operations teams, you will drive structured maintenance planning processes including preventative, corrective and statutory maintenance, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Lead the maintenance planning process including preventative, corrective and statutory maintenance activities.
Develop and manage maintenance schedules, ensuring efficient use of production windows and planned shutdowns.
Prioritise maintenance activities to support safety, production, quality and logistics requirements.
Manage and maintain the CMMS system (MEX) to support maintenance planning and reporting.
Ensure availability of spare parts and materials required for planned work.
Coordinate external contractors and specialist service providers for equipment servicing and major maintenance activities.
Support engineering stores compliance and stocktake activities when required.
Partner with Engineering and Trades teams to identify improvements and implement corrective actions to enhance plant reliability.
What you’ll bring
You are a proactive and organised maintenance professional who takes ownership of planning activities and drives efficiencies across maintenance operations. You have strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with both internal teams and external service providers.
Experience in a maintenance planning, reliability or engineering support role
Experience using CMMS systems (preferably MEX or similar)
Experience with reliability stores and spare parts management
Ability to coordinate maintenance schedules, contractors and plant servicing activities
Strong organisational, communication and prioritisation skills
