The Opportunity

Noumi is investing in its technology capability and we're looking for a Lead Integration Engineer to join our Technology team and play a critical role in our next stage of transformation.

This is a newly created role with genuine ownership and impact. You'll lead the design and delivery of our Azure integration platform and take ownership of migrating our integrations from our legacy DX2 environment to modern Azure-native services by April 2027.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You'll be the architect and a key technical contributor - making the technical decisions, setting standards, designing solutions and writing code alongside an external Integration Engineer contractor who you'll lead and manage.

• Design and own our Azure integration architecture across Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus and Azure Functions.

• Lead the end-to-end migration of integrations from DX2 to Azure-native services.

• Prioritise and sequence workstreams to maintain delivery momentum across multiple integrations.

• Design, develop and review integration solutions — this is a hands-on role, not just a leadership position.

• Establish integration standards, patterns and governance across the Azure platform.

• Lead and manage an external Integration Engineer, allocating work and reviewing technical outputs.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to understand requirements, connection specifications and dependencies.

What you’ll bring

You're an experienced Integration Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and wants genuine ownership over architecture and delivery.

• 5+ years' experience in integration engineering, middleware or enterprise application integration.

• Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services, including API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus and/or Azure Functions.

• Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, EDI standards and event-driven architecture.

• Demonstrated experience designing integration architecture and technical solutions, rather than simply implementing to specification.

• Experience working across complex, multi-system environments such as ERP, WMS, eCommerce or similar.

• Strong communication skills and confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
