The Opportunity
Working closely with our suppliers and internal stakeholders, you’ll play an important role in ensuring Noumi has access to quality materials at the right price, quality and service levels.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their career in procurement and supply chain within a fast-paced FMCG and manufacturing environment. You’ll gain exposure to supplier management, procurement strategy, working capital and continuous improvement while supporting the ongoing growth of the business.
Support the sourcing and selection of quality suppliers across raw materials, packaging and third-party finished goods.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring expectations around price, quality, service and supply are consistently met.
Monitor supplier performance and work collaboratively to resolve supply or performance issues.
Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies that deliver sustainable outcomes for Noumi and our suppliers.
Help ensure continuity of supply while balancing inventory and working capital requirements.
Respond to changing business requirements and identify practical, value-adding procurement solutions.
What you’ll bring
You’ll be organised, proactive and comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change quickly. You enjoy building relationships, solving problems and taking ownership of your work.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
Experience or exposure to procurement, supply chain, purchasing or a similar environment.
Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to challenge existing ways of working.
Strong organisation, prioritisation and time management skills.
