The Opportunity

•  Contribute to the operation of manufacturing and packaging equipment to ensure optimum speeds and quality throughout the plant. 
• Perform routine in-process checks during production. 
• Manufacture and package products in accordance with specifications. 
• Accurate recording of documentation batch production records, including production reporting to management.
• Clean production areas and equipment in accordance with appropriate time intervals; and 
• Participate in the implementation of agreed process improvements initiatives in the Plant.

What you’ll bring

• Current Forklift license, highly regarded 
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is ideal 
• You will be a motivated self-starter who is able to work autonomously, is solution focused with strong attention to detail.
• You will be safety focused always ensuring the safety of yourself and others.
• Sound understanding of quality and workplace health and safety standards, legislation and regulations.
• Demonstrated experience working with Lean principles, highly regarded 
• Excellent attention to detail in all areas of work
