The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to manage and maintain inventory accuracy across our FMCG manufacturing site. This role is responsible for stock integrity, reporting, reconciliations, and driving continuous improvement across warehouse and production processes.

• Ensure integrity and accuracy of inventory within ERP/WMS systems

• Coordinate stocktakes and cycle counts, investigating and resolving variances

• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reporting

• Support month-end close, reconciliations, and work order accuracy

• Monitor consumables, reorder points, and supplier follow-ups

• Investigate inventory discrepancies including QA holds, returns, aged stock, and in-transit items

• Oversee pallet control, reconciliations, and hire cost management

• Partner with Warehouse, Production, Quality, and Finance to maintain accurate inventory processes

• Maintain SOPs and drive compliance with GMP and safety standards

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 3 years’ inventory control experience in FMCG

• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or Finance

• Strong ERP/WMS experience (QAD highly regarded)

• Advanced Excel skills

• Forklift Licence (LF) required; Reach experience desirable

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive process improvement

• Able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
