The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Management Accountant to support the Site Finance Lead in delivering financial performance, cost control, and strategic insights across our operations.
This role is integral to ensuring financial accuracy, strong governance, and actionable insights across Dairy UHT manufacturing, Dairy Nutritionals, and Shepparton warehousing. You will act as a key finance partner to site operations, helping drive efficiency, cost discipline, and informed decision-making.
Partner with the Site Finance Lead to deliver accurate and timely monthly P&Ls, including clear commentary and insights for site leadership
Take ownership of month-end processes, including journals, accruals, and variance analysis
Analyse and explain key cost drivers and operational performance trends
Partner with operations to drive improvements in inventory governance and manufacturing accounting
Lead the preparation and submission of COGS budgets and reforecasts in collaboration with FP&A
Ensure strong inventory controls, including oversight of obsolescence, cycle counts, and stocktakes
What you’ll bring
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
Experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, or supply chain environment
Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (QAD or similar preferred)
